How do I remove the high level rear LED indicators? I seem to have lost some of the LED lights. I am hoping I can repair it or find another and fit it but can't see how it fixes. Anyone done this?

Just two screws per unit (one either side of the led's) and then the silver plate holding the led's pulls out.

Thanks. Any idea how to repair, is it a simple soldering job? I think I could stretch to that!

I had some problems as there seemed to be signs of damp at some point so I cleaned all contacts and mine have worked ever since. From what I can tell the led's are individual ones so replacing shouldn't be too hard. I'm currently working on a project to redesign the rear light to be indicators and brake lights (all in one) but I have no spare time at the moment! smile

Thanks. My problem seems to be a loss of contact for some of the LEDS on one end. If I push the unit to impove the connection, they work but as soon as I release the pressure they die.

I read your post a while ago about the combined brake and indicator lights. I like the sound of that. Cheers!

Have a look at this link which may help you to remove the LED brake light. I removed mine because it didn't work at all and then found that it had been wired the wrong way round from the factory! The unit is sealed which I managed to cut open with a sharp Stanley knife and tested all the LEDs on the printed circuit board before I realised it was a hardware wiring fault.

It's the indicator I am asking about, I don't have the high level brake light. wink
