After a steady ride to Chatsworth I've discovered I have water ingress coming in the passenger side footwell and making the various ECU and alarm boxes a little damp, well wet really. Anyone know where the likely route is into the car is for the water before I get carried away later this week?

First time I've had mine out in rain like that and I found that mine also leaked like a colander on both drivers and passenger sides(depending on the wind direction)through the front of the window seals and through the rear screen seal!

Also the speedo packed up on the way home until it dried out (fortunately I have sat-nav and could use that to monitor my speed)

have just noticed we have a similar theme in new threads hehe

can suggest maybe check out the main door seal, it can compress over time and there is also the join on the passenger side....is there a gap?

Well after after my 20 week pregnant wife climbing over the central tunnel to get out of the drivers side because of the passenger door ecu not working frown I need to address the leak issue.
I've had new seals in all around the doors last year and I think they are in the main ok now. The water seems to be coming in either under the windscreen or from the engine bay.
It may be somewhere around the heater set set up but if anyone has any advice on a fix that would be appreciated

Don't Tuscan's have the emergency pull cord for exactly this reason (when I say exactly this reason I mean the door/window ecu playing up not 20 week pregnant women becoming stuck)?

Agree with last poster - the memsahib could've used the red emergency door pull in the footwell.

I'd also agree with Robert's comments re: door seal, they do get tired over time. Having said that, I have renewed mine and I still have a very small leak from the pass. side window leading edge - or maybe the rubber moulding at the front of the door. I get a slight dribble into the door pocket.

Any other leaks in the region of the footwell above the drivers/passenger's knees must surely be from a poor seal/bonding on the windscreen?

Your right about the emergency red pull. But that doesn't drop the window and my new paint is far too precious wink

Ah, I remember those days where things like paint mattered. Is this your first child? ...give it a few years and the pleasant smile and clam voice become almost convincing as your 4yo and 3yo children lovingly clean your car with bricks.

Third but a 15 year gap between them !!! the other two have now stopped using bricks for cleaning the cxar but the threat is always there when they need something haha
