was out hooning around and my speedo went sailing on upto 150 ! long after i had bottled out (mk1 with no splitter)
and now when the vehicle is stationary it still reads 30 !

i understand there is a sensor somewhere that can get dirty... where is it and how do i clean it ?

any help appreciated.

and if u have a splitter going cheap ...

Just bout the splitter with T-Bar and Spoiler - about 325 all in for parts, then probs the same again for fitting and spraying depending where you go!

Mine did the same 180 in a 30 zone yikes

Turned out to be a naff speed sensor that's located on the rear nearside axle IIRC.

Cab the sensor be cleaned then ? Or is it time for the wallet to get an airing.
And that spoiler splitter thing seems ok. Does it work and by that I mean will it save me from soiling myself at anything approaching motorway speed ? Has anyone done this ?
