Hi All,
So what does Jason mean when he calls this Tuscan Convertible a Mk3 ?
Can someone please explain.

There was a mk3 Tuscan targa. The only difference between that and the mk2 targa that I'm aware of is the wavy/curvy dashboard, which looks awesome IMO.
By that definition, all convertibles would be classed as mk3s because they all have the curvy dash (i.e. there is no mk1 or mk2 convertible).

I think Jason has cocked up..as we all know
there was never a Mark anything convertible.
If anything this car is a MK1 convertible (if such a thing existed) ..... For the very observant people who notice there is no hazard warning light between the fan switch and the light switch...and of course the front and rear light surrounds are Black not body colour.
I hope he gets that price, it's about time Tuscan prices came more in-line with Sagaris ones.

Hazard warning light button is squeezed in between the headlight and fog light knobs, it's in the same place on mine Keith.Totally agree on the price, fingers crossed the value of these great cars is heading upwards.

I noticed on one of Jasons advertisements that he has an American interested in one of the convertibles.
This starts me thinking of how he will get it in the US, per the other thread in the US section on the Mk2 Targa in the US...

TVR built just 83 Tuscan Convertibles - so they are even rarer than a Sagaris. Tuscan Mk 3s may be about to become the next appreciating asset in the TVR marketplace....
Is he talking about convertables, and tagras in the second sentance? or has he got his models mixed up??
I agree the MK3 Tuscans(ALL TAGRAS) are rare as aparantley about 26 of them some small engines and some 4.0S spec If you all keep the prices igh and set a low limit then the prices will be deturmined by you , but i think people just get sick of tuscans as the novalty and they realise the fantasy of them being some sort od dick extention and the reality of ownership and practicality / reliability of a glorified kit car comes to light . They should come with a warning TVRs are plastic toys not real tin cars , then owners may not winge and whine so mutch then take what they can wondering why they didnt get good money ..
Just take a look at how many nealy most posts on this forum would put any person with half a brain well off ownership , This forum realy dose not help prices or comfidence in cheap poor build quality (exept the Russian ones where a lot of niggles were sorted out that the UK owners didnt give a s

Was picking mine up from service, when Chas was dealing with the DVLA/US Customs.This starts me thinking of how he will get it in the US, per the other thread in the US section on the Mk2 Targa in the US...

The car is going to be imported into the States as a 'display/rare car' car only. Apparently, the US owner is hoping for a Pebble Beach entry.
This may well boost values?

Not under the show and display rules. Sadly the Tuscan, T350, Cerbera & Sagaris have all been specifically highlighted as ineligible for import under the show and display rules by the NHSTA.The car is going to be imported into the States as a 'display/rare car' car only.
