Hi Steve hope all is cool your end. Good idea I will give them a shout. Should I be raising an eyebrow or 2 with just 15,000 miles on the clock in 11 years with 5 owners?
It looks mint but why wouldn't you take photos of the inside? Very odd

Hi Sandro,
Can't comment on the car but it looks as if it's been pampered, you could ring Str8Six about it.

At that mileage you need to be budgeting for a new clutch in the near future. Also as the mileage is low I would check the brake discs for corrosion, the drilled S discs are quite pricey.
There are rebuilds and rebuilds. i saw one car described as having a rebuild by Str8Six, when I called Jason he told me that all the owner had allowed him to do was replace a couple of finger followers and 1 cam shaft. That is not a rebuild to me.

I Know quite a bit about this Tuscan
It's owned be the Director of Mid-Kent Technical in Kent
It was resprayed black and wheel reconned because it was a gross 90's style flip coulor
He spent ages finding the lowest mileage one when he bought it.
There is nothing wrong with the clutch but he will film his head technician changing it for a serious buyer.
The reason I know all this, is because it's mine ! MWWWWWWHA HA HA HA MWWW HA HA

Zippe I agree
When I buy a TVR i like to spend at least 2k on it. Would you really pay 15k for a car and not be able to afford a clutch if required? Thats why there are so many rubbish TVRs about, People can't afford to look after them! A jobber can get one on a bank loan but won't look after it...
Your buying a car, not adopting a child with aids! Just fix the thing!
Luckily this car had been looked after! and i'd welcome any inspection

Dan as posted on other Topic too many people who yes may well have the funds to buy car ignore things when they go wrong ie: leaving it and then selling cheaply knocking TVR as the leave ownership this then expands into the non TVR owners topic of conversation(down the pub my mates said). Over the last 7 years and 3 TVR's still owning 2 my wife and i have made some great friends within the TVR fraternity who if i am thinking straight still have or actually have owned a TVR so can tell first hand what ownership is all about.Yes things do break and need replacement from time to time but these can be repaired also annual service costs come into play this is where the ownership dynamic changes you need a budget or slush fund, some owners work on a tight rein doing repairs/service themselves others have money to pamper their cars but whichever band of ownership you fit into we are true TVR fans/enthusiasts (although i did curse my wedge when the clutch cable snapped). It seems we need a guru who has worked his magic with Sagaris prices to help the Tuscan claw back some of their value(get um quick whilst still under valued). Good luck with your sale and to those who are thinking of buying a Tuscan do so it will bring you great pleasure and reward and if it feels right for you buy it its not all doom and gloom. No cars will make you money at present especially if you want Ferrari performance for Fiesta prices with a little TLC TVR's will soon get under your skin bit like a good woman. My own views only and should you require expert help the Forums are a great encyclopedia of knowledge so there is always help or an answer on hand
