At present the voltage on the LCD Display jumps between 10.8V and 13.9V while driving.

Sometimes for a few minutes 14V, suddenly for a longer time 11.2V

The 100amp under the alternator its ok, i believe.

The alternator or battery are knackered?

please help...

Wouldn't be suprised if it's the battery, it in the most stupid location right next to one of the catalysts so get's literaly cooked to death.

You problem sounds more like a duff connection somewhere though to me.

The car is LHD.The battery isn`t on catalysts side.Sits on airbox side.

But where can be the duff connection??

Mine has just started doing this over the last couple of days. It only seems to happen once the car is warmed up and when the voltage drops enough I´m getting EFI fault messages. I think it is something shorting out and draining all the current from the alternator. God knows what though.

It could be a bad earth to the battery.

I think it's something that is affected by suspension or engine movement as it seems to do it worst when lifting off from high revs and slowing down.

It was noticeable to me, that the battery light sometimes came on at low revs.If you put a little more revs, the light flickered off again!?
