Careful where you leave your bonnet!

Without thinking, I left my bonnet lying next to the garage door today.

A huge gust of wind caused the heavy wooden door to fly open and smash into my makeshift door stop.

I suppose the damage could've been worse but I was still seething with myself, especially after having a couple other areas of bodywork sorted out just a few days ago

I put up a couple,of hooks on the wall, they go through the oil/water holes.

Got my little spray gun out yesterday. Yet to rub it down and try to get rid of the scuffs ,but it will do for now

Just rubbed the edges down a bit. Quite happy with the result actually, considering to get it fixed properly would involve relacquering the entire bonnet.
