Blast 2004 - 5th September

have been ruminating about the fact we haven't met up this year. So we've decided to get together on the morning of the 5th September, all Tuscan's invited of course!

Two options currently :

Herts/Beds twisty country roads followed by leisurely Sunday lunch at nice pub.

Tour of the Tunnels (London) and meet go for lunch at the end somewhere tbd.

I dont get on the boat till the 6th, never mind I'll have 10 days of a blast from then, we've planned to spend 3 days doing the North West Scotland Route as recommended by "Get Carter on here" Topic was best driving roads ever, reading the regional round ups in Sprint this month there are is a gathering planning to do this route when I'm back here, seems that I cannot get anybody to play with.

Keep 'em coming. Currently on ToG the favourite seems to be Herts/Beds twisty/turny drive to pub One driver coming from Belgium Must remember to lower expectations!

I'm thinking about a couple of meet up points to suit early bird / night owls alike.

Is this blast going to happen ? It seems that there are not too many reactions at this moment.
I will come over from Belgium (as Andy said above), and will try to arrange some appointments with our customers in the U.K. on the following Monday and Tuesday.
For that reason I would like to know if this date is fixed, so I can make the necessary arrangements.

5th September it is. 1st meet at Buntingford little chef, nice drive to the 2nd at A1 Baldock services. 3rd at pub at midday! I went there yesterday to check out the cuisine and decor. A couple of different roasts on Sunday and varied menu selection from stuffed Ciabbatta sanwiches to fish+chips, sausages, steak, chicken, 2 vegetarian, somewhere between a pub and a restaurant imo.

Need to book in advance as it is very very popular.

Get you interest down now for the only Tuscan meet in 2004!

I'm back off holiday so online regularly again. I'll post details of times and maps etc shortly, the idea to get to the pub at midday prompt so we can get some nice parking places

I've counted 12 people interested so far between here and ToG which is brilliant so I'll book the table tomorrow.

Any more interested or drop outs (boo, hiss) please let me know asap.
