My Tuscan from 2003 has Brakejudder after 3000 miles. I use Ferode FRP 308H brakepads. After skimming the frontdiscs the same problem returned already after 3000 miles. I brake "normal" no track use.

Some ideas about this unwanted behaviour?

Do I need other brakepads? (harder or softer?)

Have you tried taking the car out and braking hard a few times from speed? It could be pad material building up on the disc surfaces that needs cleaning off.

Yep, many times. You can feel it with the brakes light on.

Is there any corrosion build up on the inside disc surfaces? Alternatively are you sure it's the brakes this time? I had a worn top ball joint that felt like brake judder so could be similar play in a bush or joint.

Had my Discs Skimmed at the begining of this year for the same reason. I was advised on skimming instead of a straight forward costly replacement ( makes a change ). I was also warned that although the original discs have plenty of ' Meat on them ' that metal has memory and that the problem may re appear at any time. 2000 odd miles later and with no apparrent problems i am still aware that it may be only a temporary fix. If the discs go out next then it will be an S upgrade for my 2003 mk 1.
