Hi all - Long time since my last post in here.

I'm looking to know where I can source the clip on windscreen wiper system used on the Tuscan.

I know of 2 systems, one is a loop and the other is a straight clip on.

I'm looking to use the same system on my Noble.

Any recommendations as to where I can order the parts plus what wiper blades are best would be great.

Thanks in advance.

There you go. I'd use aero blades for wipers (the ones that are just a strip of rubber with no metal) as they seem to work best!

Cheers

You can get the storm washer jet kits on ebay for about 15 quid.

I've really got to upgrade mine. Still haven't got around to changing my wipers for aero ones yet.

Was thinking a few days ago how the normal wipers actually take up a fair bit of your view of the nose of the car!

Don't pay the DemonTweeks prices and buy direct at £13.99 each. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Storm-Four-Way-C...

I've fitted these recently and they are a good fit, and appear to be well made.
Only negative is they have 4 jets (2 in front of the blade, and 2 behind). With the Tuscan's smallish screen it's a bit too much in that you get less of a spray and more of a stream of water. It wouldn't put me off recommending them though. smile

Edited to add: For the wiper blades, get these: http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/bosch-aerotwin-ar19u-...
Go for the 19" for the drivers side, and 17" for passengers. I've been using these for a long while now and they perform much better than the ebay ones.

Nope! I may have done in excess of 120 thingmebobs and the wipers lay flat with the Aeros.

Slight thread revival- I need new wipers as the stock ones suck and I like these Bosch Aero ones.

Some people have said go for 21" drivers and 19" passengers, this thread said 19" drivers and 17" passengers, which is correct?

They both could be biggrin

I ended up with same sized wipers either side on my Tamora as the longer driver's side fouled the screen edges / seal.

I'll probably go for the smaller ones- it can only be a good thing for coverage over the curved sides, less strain on wiper motor and may park more reliably (all reasons I used tiny ones on my old cars!)

Also the far off-side of my windscreen is scuffed by the wiper at the end of its stroke over the years, is it possible to polish it out?

I fitted these, which look a lot better than the originals IMO:

Thanks Chris, had seen those and will probably opt for them, the originals are really quite crap. I even replaced them a couple of years ago with a set from Powers, and they were even worse.
