Took the Tuscan (mk1) down to Cornwall for a holiday, got there fine but was unable to select gear the next day, and a suspicious looking puddle under the car makes me think its dumped all the clutch fluid for some reason.

How easy would it be to jack up the car and bleed the clutch system myself after refilling with fluid? Just want to be able to get the car home without getting the AA involved!

No need to jack it up, fairly positive the bleed nipple is at the back of the engine above the starter motor. I think you will have to remove the airbox to see it/gain access to it.
good luck

Sadly it sounds like your clutch slave cylinder seals have gone. Refilling with fluid will only be a very short temporary fix if at all. Best to get it recovered now than get stranded.

I think you might be right about the slave cyl being the culprit, but I had a brand new one fitted a few months ago following a very similar episode so that'll be a bit disappointing...

To be honest I'm relatively stranded as it is, so a temporary fix that might get me closer to home is what I'm after.

I've seen someone bleed the system before and they definitely jacked the car and approached from underneath, but can it be done through the bonnet route?
