question from a potention owner

im a esprit gt3 owner but love the tuscan and im thinking of buying a speed six,,,,,i have read the horror stories but all the references to engine rebuilds etc etc they are all done at the factory, does this cost any money or becuse it is a design fault do they foot the bill, and if not what are the cost of the work usually carried out

Just take a look at the current posts up here... 1/2 of them are about that very subject. There was, until this week, an amount of "goodwill" for well known faults, where you could get "helped out" towards the cost if you had a full service history, etc.
Apparently that's going to stop now. But, if you looks at the sticky posts at the top of the forum at the moment, it does look like once you've got sorted finger followers & valve guides, that the engine's a good 'un.
Karl mate, I second what James says, having taken the plunge 3-4 months ago.
Do your homework and seach through the posts.
When I bought mine it was because it had already blown up and had had a recent 2003 rebuild.
Even so, I budgeted for another one.
If you do something similar you'll be ok.
