If the new Russian owner has opted out of paying for these rebuilds. Aren't less people going to use maindealers as it wont matter if a specialist services your car or a MD.As it wont make any difference to what you have to pay towards a rebuild if you have to have one.

Also does it make any difference when you go to sell a TVR if its a repribable Indie or a MD who's stamped the log book ?

My understanding, and I'm not sure of my ground, but provided an "idie" uses approved or original parts this does not affect any warranty in any way.

Strictly speaking you're correct if you ever need any goodwill gestures from TVR, you're more likely to get them if you've a service book full of main dealer stamps.
