Selling the car has crossed my mind a few times.....
Discussion
As above... not sure what to do really tbh
I don't really drive it much anymore, probably cover 2k per year, its not that I have fallen out of love with driving the Tuscan just that I dont enjoy driving like I used to, what with all the traffic and road restrictions and d
heads on the road i'd rather do something else these days other than drive and subsequently have picked up other interests...
Am I being silly? should I dunk my head in a bucket of iced water when I get home, clear it of all this nonsence, go outside and wash and wax the old girl before waiting until 10pm before the roads clear enough for a spirited drive somewhere?

Take it on a road trip to the Alps. If that doesn't re-invigorate your love for it then I'd sell it. Just done the trip in mine and went on to the Italian Lakes. Absolutely loved it. I live in SW London so it is ok to get on a decent road within 45 mins but nothing compared to a good blast on the continent!
Keep the car!

With the money you release from the house, you will be able to repeat:

When you get back, sell your house and move to a better (and cheaper...) part of the country! With the money you release from the house, you will be able to repeat:

many times!
Thought about it myself for a variety of reasons i.e. keeps going wrong (cant live with it not being A1), irritation of constant fettling, no time to spend on it, £ per mile is stupidly high.....the list goes on. I keep telling myself it will get better but im still waiting!!!
BUT, and its a big *BUT* i know if it went i would have to spend significantly more money on ANYTHING with similar performance, and maintenance costs are likely to be just as high!!
Then, when you get in and everything is right, its an amazing car to be, and 9/10 drives i find myself thinking its a stupidly quick car, mental in fact....who would be mental enough to make this in the first place?! Its immense presence, jaw dropping looks, incredible performance take some beating as a complete package...

yeah I guess you are right chaps.... (well apart from the moving comment
) I will think further as not desperate for the cash so no need to make any rash decisions.
All due respect Toady1 it doesnt have 100% of you specific list of requirements as you mentioned in another thread so no point giving you the details, there are only a few cars that do to be honest so good luck!
