Since the very wet drive back from Chatsworth in April one of the lens mists up when there is any dampness about. It dried out after some help with a warm air heater but when it stood out overnight in some rain last week the lens has misted up again.
I can dry it out with the heater but it tends to mist again almost immediately.
Red Spike has suggested drilling a hole in the lens to allow it to evaporate but not too keen on taking a drill to it unless someone else has experience of it with success.
Don't really want to have to take the cover off and reseal as it doesn't look like there are any holes in the sealant around the lens and probably more likely to have entered from the wheel arch area.
Have thought that possibly drilling a 1.5mm hole and then tapping in a stainless grub screw afterwards to make it look neat and then repeating on all lenses to make them look identical.
Any thoughts or alternative ideas??

Mine does this as well, I also discovered at chatsworth that the door seal leakseek I also had this problem on my chim rear light so I did the hole drilling and found it worked quite well. It didn't solve it completely but it cleared it a lot faster. Just go in with a really small bit as low down as you can.

I know this doesn't help but I was at a dealership a while back and saw this happening on a 599 GTB and a Gallardo also so we are in good company!

Yep, it also happened on my VX220T, and it also happens on my fiat van worse than ever, rubbish Italian build quality!

Only one of mine does it, but that one has a crack, so guess yours isn't sealed 100%?

The rears on my Chim used to mist up too, I drilled a small (3mm IIRC) hole in the bottom of them, but not sure I'd want to do it to the front of the Tuscan confused

I had my van one changed under warrenty cus it did it, and now does it again, no cracks and it's the same side again! Doesn't really bother me tho, if it's steamed up come MOT I just take the bulb out and fire an air line in.

Thanks for the reassurances that we are in good company hehe!
It is the upper near side lens which correct me if I am wrong is a xenon projector which I assume cannot be removed from the rear without cutting it out so the plastic front lens would be the easier option if it came to removal.

Mine are all water-tight and don't mist up, though while polishing it today I did realise that there are a load of dead flies behind one of them!

TVR's, gotta love 'em!!!

You could throw in a silica bag (out of packaging) that seems to help absorb moisture but isn't a fix to the problem.

Sick of looking at a winking Tuscan so I took the drill and tap to it top and bottom. Dried out straight away with a compressed air nozzle and now looks beautiful again. Hope it lasts??
