I think it's new battery time as mine is losing charge fairly quickly and seems to struggle to crank over at anything above 8v.

I am currently having both my fobs fixed (the buttons need replacing) by a mate who is an electronics engineer. After reading a few battery posts on here, it seems the alarm may go off (and doors will lock) when reconnecting the battery. I'm a little clueless about alarms, but if I were to remove the Meta M90 brain box, does the car lose its ability to sound the alarm, lock the doors etc?
