I put Sikaflex sealant around the edges of the heater matrix, where it meets the bulkhead, that seemed to help. I also made sure there were no gaps and splits in the sealant around the bottom of the windscreen, all easily accessible with the scuttle panel removed.

I have it coming in through the front of each door. It's running down over the top of the door card and making a nice puddle in the bottom of the compartment at the bottom of the door.

Any suggestions as to how I can stop this?

Its a TVR sir, they all do that ! thats what i was told 6 years ago by a main dealer at the time !

Sorry its not what you want to hear, but to solve the problem the solution would ultimatley involve the re-designing of a flawed but beautiful original design.

Garage in wet weather, shower cap or cover anytime else.

Just pulled the sopping wet mats out of my passenger footwell. (Rain much harder and I could keep Goldfish in the footwell).

Driver side is dry as a bone! Both doors and seals look the same but I think the water is running down the windows, behind the door card and out through the door drain holes onto the sill. On the passenger side these holes must be poorly aligned on mine and drip onto the mat attached to the sill.

The Autumn weather got to me before I could buy a cover. The only answer for outside life, our Chim is kept dry this way.

Hmmm...they do ALL do it!! She is pretty much watertight actually, i have only once had a leak - coming back from chatsworth this year - and that was pretty exceptional.

I think it was the rubbers where the windown meets the front of the door, they arent prerished, just not a fabulous fit...

i replaced all the 'standard' window and door rubbers last year.

I have just ordered a cover for mine, having learnt pretty quickly how leaky she is. My old Cerbera was like a submarine compared to this Tuscan. I figure it's the only way of making a TVR completely waterproof. A shame as the fit and finish actually looks far the Cerbera's superior to the naked eye.

I had problems with mine for the first 3 years of ownership but I had to have the windscreen replaced earlier this year and while the glass was out it turned out that the interior trim hadnt been trimmed off properly on the passenger side of the windscreen recess. now that leak is cured I suppose I'd better sort the roof and doors out....At least I wont need any more door encoders relpacing due to excess water smile

I hade this with mine when it was new, they cut the rubber seal then pushed some thin stiff rope through to puff out the rubber, it has not leaked since

I did similar previously, inserted some plastic tubing into the seal, and it works to a point, but TBH there was still a great deal of wind noise. The new rubbers only cost £30 from Woolies and the difference was remarkable.

The only downside i have had is that the roof has been an incredibly tight fit since, but im assuming is will loosen off in time, but for now i carry some silicone spray around just in case!

Yep, on mine the driver's door leaked just where the front of the top edge of the window meets the door seals. However with some wiggling around and re-seating of seals (especially the inch-long strip that goes over the door there, that looks like it's specifically meant to stop leaks at that point) it's now completely watertight! It lives outside in Edinburgh so that's just as well. They don't all leak - don't give up yet...!
