The one with holes in it was repaired and painted a different colour and was then used in the Looney Tunes film iirc.

Think there was an ex-factory worker on here trying to sell the inspection bonnet about 6 months ago…Don’t know if he sold it, think from memory he wanted about £500 with the holes left in

There were 5 (IIRC) Looney Tunes cars. I have one (albeit a different colour now - after I had it resprayed!), and Agger sold one of them a few years ago.

Don't think any of them were ex-Swordfish cars but they could have been. Mine wasn't.

The one with the holes from Swardfish was definitely used as a Looney Tunes car, Mike Vernon who looked after the cars for both films confirmed thet to me.

Yep, the car with the holes was repaired and used in Looney Tunes, I got that confirmation too, when I went to pick up the service bonnet. That's the only part of that car that hasn't been changed.

As for the car being sold... Could well be one of the remaining two other Swordfish cars, but I'd definitely recommend indeed that the buyer request a certificate to proove that... To my knowledge, they were 2000 cars, very early production models and no airco (unless it was fitted afterwards).

Edited to add that I actually contacted the seller to change his advert. W998 AFR is NOT for sale. (and that's still THE Swordfish car to me)

There were four cars... At least that's how many I could count on the pictures I got from Mike V. smile
