I hope you can help me with a couple of questions.

1) which trickle charger should I get?
2) where can I get it from?

Thanks!

There are a few CTEK models. Some arent compatible with the cigarette lighter connector so make sure. That's how I ended up with 2 CTEK chargers rolleyes

This could be a stupid question but here goes...
Any reason I can't connect a spare lighter socket connector to a standard charger? Is there anything special in a lighter socket connector / charger?

I've got a C-Tek hard wired to the battery.
Wires taken through rear N/S wheel arch, along cill void and then into battery compartment.
Fairly beefy wires - very little resistance. 3-pin plug ant charger tucks away behind 'flap' in boot on top of tank.
I can use extension reel from any domestic socket and then shut boot and lock if away from home.
