Clutch slowly depressing without much pressure!!!
Discussion
Hi All
Got a strange one! Gears have been a bit stiff over the last few months and a clutch bleed did help but now the problem is back. Also when driving along if I i just slightly rest my foot on the clutch its starts to depress right to the floor, with hardly and pressure!!!!
Is this a tell tale master or slave fault!!!
Thanks John
Happy New Year lol

I've not had such a fault with a TVR however from a purely mechaical perspective it sounds like it does relate to either the master or slave cylinder, particularly if you're not losing any fluid.
If you were able to blank off the outlet pipe on the master cylinder and the pedal still depressed it would suggest the fault lay there, if it seems ok do the same with the Slave cylinder and see if that replicates the fault.
Richard.

Do you get the same if you depress the clutch pedal and hold down for a minute or so then try to engage gear whilst engine is running, are you able to select gear or do you have to release the pedal then press again,if so it may well be the Slave Cylinder( WELL IT WAS ON MINE) and as said already G Box out.You may need 1 of these as link below it was a while before fluid leaked out as i had parked mine in garage and was only when i came to move it again i was unable to select any gear then there was a puddle of fluid and reservoir sounder was audible. When removed old slave seals were perished if thats the word and a short length of what should be a o ring missing
