Evening all,
My 2001 Mk 1 Tuscan has alarm issues, the META alarm doesn't make any noise and the key fob button is getting tired. I have also been warned that the immobiliser will at some point give up and that these alarms were not wired correctly in the first place at the factory?!?!
Couple of questions, 1. Has anyone replaced this alarm with something else ie Clifford, toad etc and if so any recommendations. 2. If this is a very bad idea does anyone know who could fix mine, the TVR META guru Carl is off to France and the chaps who service META systems only repair/reprogram parts sent to them and I am not touching a thing!

Any advice or help would be much appreciated, cheers all,
Sam

Abacus alarms in London. I removed the main control and sent it to them to be reprogrammed and 2 shiney new key fobs. Also a new siren as well. If you dont fancy DIY then give them a ring im sure they will sort you out.
