Warning: Frost and Error Code need to panic?
Discussion
Hello all,
Had a Warning: Frost message hen I tried to strart up the Tuscan today. Battery also fairly flat. Best charing it up whilst waiting for the temperature to improve incase anything is frozen in there do you think??
Additionally, are any of the error codes anything worth immediately stopping your journey for?...I get K and E intermittantly.
thanks in advance.

What do the EFI fault codes mean?
Some TVR Tuscan owners report that the EFI warning dash light will flicker on and off or come on randomly, usually due to moisture in the engine bay. Many people report having this problem just after washing the car or in wet weather. Code L sometimes flickers on and off randomly but is usually nothing to worry about! The EFI warning light will usually stay on if there is a more serious problem. Below are the diagnostic codes for the Tuscan MkI.
A - Speedo sensor not activating zero switch
B - Speedo sensor not releasing zero switch
C - Water level sensor not activating zero switch
D - Water level sensor not releasing zero switch
E - Fuel level sensor not activating zero switch
F - Fuel level sensor not releasing zero switch
G - Water level sensor open circuit
H - Air temp sensor open circuit
I - Oil temp sensor open circuit
J - Oil pressure sensor open circuit
K - Fuel level sensor open circuit
L - Erratic road speed sensor input
O - No communications between analogue and control

Mike has given you the error codes above.
The frost warning is pretty self explanatory. Have to say I never understood why TVRs have this. You get out to the car in the morning....and you know it's f****ing cold!! PW was oft quoted on his 'refusal' to put ABS/Traction control etc on the T cars as that he disliked nanny aids. Yet this alarm WAS included??
I nearly always get the fuel level code (E) up on start up. Must have a little play with the microswitch on the gauge sometime!

Frost warning is so that you know when there is the risk of black ice around if you have been driving your warm cosy Tusc for a while and outside it has got colder and colder. Having said that, my Mk1 Tusc didnt have frost warning.
I started mine at christmas 2011 after parking it in a hotel car park on a cold frosty night. The water and oil temp were both at minus 6 - got lots of temp warnings, oil pressure was good though
