Handbrake lever

Just replaced mt handbrake lever today. What a PITA! I don't have a ramp and a helper otherwise it would be a 30 min job. Ended up giving myself the required slack in the cable by pulling the nearside of the cable out of its "fork" this allowed me to pull the clevis up into the car and remove the pin. If you do it this way tie a string to the cable end of the assembly TIGHT so as not to lose your cable under the propshaft. Once the pin is out its easy peasy. Just thought I'd share
