Hello there guys. I returned home last night to find 3 guys nicking stuff from my workshop.after a bout of fisty cuffs they ran away.however in the process they scratched the Tuscan on the drivers door.now it's in topaz and the paint guy says paint it all which I think is an overkill.has anybody had a good localised repair done and if so who was it by ?im near chester but wouldn't mind a spin out further(good excuse you see)cheers rob

Give Ryan at SP Automotive a call. He may be happy to do a localised repair or would certainly advise on the best option. He's in Tattenhall so not far from you.

Would definitely speak to ryan at sp automotive - not had my car painted by him yet (booked in) but he seems like a top bloke..especially as it's next door to you!

Give Craig at TrackVRoad a call - they have a 'Smart Repair' guy who's worked wonders with Cascade paints etc in the past. Nice part of the country to go for a drive too biggrin

To be honest most 'Smart Repairs' including a couple I've seen from the guy TvR use the mark is still visible, if it's just the door then spray the whole door. If you use a proper paintshop then they can match the paint and the application properly, it's rubbish that these paints need a complete respray.

I'd use Surface and Design in Bristol Avenue.

Sad to hear and as mentioned hope you at least hurt one of them! A friend who's a copper round the Mold area said there had been a spate since Christmas linked to a gang from 'over the border'
Not used them myself but SP do seem to get well praised on here and then the next place would be S&D.

I'm guessing this must have been you last year! -

Two Cascade Indigo cars smart repaired by that man used by TvR - need a microscope to tell it's been done i.e. you can't

Hello there guys.thanks for all of your help.
The door has a couple of deep scratches so it would be ott to paint the whole thing so I will see what the consensus is with the paint guys and go from there.
I did manage to get a few on one of them so hopefully that may deter him in the future but I doubt it!
Rww ,yes that was I out for a blast washing the bugs off afterwards
.you can't go anywhere in these things without. Being reported can you!
Cheers.rob

I will give you or your paintshop any advice I can so that you may only need the door painting.
