Brain teaser for you all.

Currently having a niggle with the car when locking and unlocking.
When I lock or Unlock the hazards flash but then sometimes stick on...... for an undefined length of time, Maybe 5min maybe 30min. Immediate solution was to remove Fuse #6 "Hazards and Alarm Signal" but then I dont have Hazard lights (Hazard lights work fine, only issues when locking or unlocking)

Has anyone experienced this or have any advice?

As your hazards work ok and it's just the alarm that makes them stay on then it's due to a sticky solenoid in the alarm unit itself which I understand means a replacing the unit to fix. Mine does it and turning the alarm on and off a few times usually clears it but they have got worse over time.

yes Basil i had same issue, just give the whole alarm box a good dousing with wd40 and try resetting alarm several times.Sometimes a gentle "tap" on the box also helps. If box is easy to get too take top off and push everything back in tight.Meta alarms do go iffy when old my Alfa has had similar problems when damp and cold.
