Anderson Connector - has anyone moved it?
Discussion
Fair enough!!
Given that I first posted the issue about the battery charge point in 2007 I should have sorted it long ago.
Curious to know if anyone had moved the connector into the main body of the engine bay or any other option had been entertained, other than the aforementioned File 13!

I put an Andersen charge point in my Chimaera under the passenger side shelf. I actually have found them quite useful and now carry Anderson jump leads in both Tuscan and Chim. The RAC Anderson connector jump leads are larger than those used by TVR, as I discovered when my alternator failed. Having the lead & connector on the Tuscan at least allowed me to run from an extra battery inside the car in the passenger footwell, and get home.
Taking the wheel off to get at the battery is such a pain if you are on the road, on balance maybe keep it and move it under passenger shelf. But make sure you carry the leads otherwise it's pointless

I've just bought one of these covers to see if it's any better. There isn't enough room between the chassis rail and the plug on mine to get the normal TVR cover on properly.
