I've visited friends near Frankfurt a couple of times: Folkstone to Calais on the train, windy roads following the Meuse across France/Belgium to Luxembourg and then to Frankfurt and the Rhine Valley/ Black Forest. Some great roads, but not the best of Europe, IMHO. Looking to visit friends in N Italy, so wondered about a trip taking in the 'Ring then through Switzerland into Italy (?pass or tunnel) back via Millau bridge. I seem to remember there was a post with that route some time ago. Can't find it through the search engine though.

Very interested to hear the results of your research.

You could take a look at our Tamora trip from last year.

There is a conprehensive write-up at the link below.

Some bits were really good for a TVR, some bits I thought were best avoided. Lake Como area and Nice / Monaco traffic were not good TVR territory, although the car did get some attention in Monaco as it isn't one of those common Ferraris.
