How To Remove Cowling

As the title says how do you remove the cowling over the speedo, usual problem does not fit properly, got an idea that does not involve velcro

Hi, IIRC, two screws near the bottom of the cowling, drop the steering wheel down on the height adjustment, and it just slips off, but be careful with the connecting lead for the change up lights. 10 min job.

Thanks got as far as droping the steering wheel, just wanted to be sure nothing connected to it
