For what it's worth I use 1144's on my VX220 used mainly on track days and they're great. They don't seem to need much time to heat up to work on the road either. They are also very disc friendly as I'm still on original discs after 41k and over 50 track days. (VX's weigh about 850kg)

Thanks, I think I did actually use them in my vx220 turbo I had a few years ago come to think of it, but would like to know peoples thoughts on them vs the DS2500's for a Tuscan.

I've got ebc yellow stuff which are IMO very good especially for the money. Something like £50 per end!

They USED to be awful but they changed the compound so ignore reviews from a few years back.

Ask some other forum members if I drive the car.......

I'd love to try carbon Lorraine, maybe next time but a lot of money.

When I got my tuscan the disks and pads were funked. Fine for trundling around but the disks were beyond skimming and the pads pitted

I replaced everything and used ds2500 pads and have used them on track days and haven't locked once. Put them in front and back and you'll be completely balanced. Their stopping power is awesome.

I had ebd yellowstuff on the rear and struggled to get them to temp for much of the time and therefore they locked quite often, maybe its just my driving style.

Changed to ds2500 and much happier, they are great...

I have DS2500's all round on my T350 and even with the extra power of the 4.3 engine I have no problems coming to a halt - would recommend them!!
