I bought some leven jump leads a while back and today after the Tuscan getting its first flat battery in two years I tried to use them.
Sadly the plug on the end of the leads appears to large to fit into my connector.

So what's the deal there then? Do I have an old set of leads or a new set of leads or what? The connector looks to be the same shape but just too big (by a couple of mm).

Had a palava getting it started after that but having not driven it in the dry for a good few months I forgot about the power! Wow wow wow! Haha

Strange ..I have two sets of Leven leads and they fit OK... Has your Anderson connector been replaced at any time ?

I'm pretty sure I've got a receipt somewhere showing it was either worked on or changed.

Lucky I never got a flat battery last year in Europe as I was at the time confident I had the right leads.

It should fit but it is universal so takes some fiddling to get it lined up right, I'd keep trying...

I think so, the one on the leads certainly is.

I'll try again this weekend, things got a bit hairy as I tried to roll the car out the garage but due to the front wheels being at an angle the car ended up about 2" away from the opening so was a bit flappy :haha:

Had to get the misses to help me push it back in which is not easy as my garage floor has for some reason got 6" of fall front to back and makes pushing a nightmare.
