Hi benny
Yep, normal. Took me a while to get used to it, but now don't think about it at all. I was tempted to get my tappets checked early to try put my mind at ease (not sure if this would have done anything anyway?) but in the end I sucked it up and did my best to ignore it. 2 years on and all is fine.

Yep, it sounds normal from what you are saying. I moved from a Griff to the Tuscan and I guess that for the first couple of months or so I was paranoid that the engine was going to let go at anytime, the chain drive causes the much loved death rattle and it seems to sound particularly rough until fully warmed. Two years later and 11,000 miles of use it still sounds the same, but after fitting fully sleeved cans and a JP exhausts big bore system, I can barely hear it.
Trust it and enjoy.

I have done everything I can for mine, checked the clearances, checked the chain, new gasket to lift the rocker cover (well worth doing) and tightened down every bracket. Still sounds like a sewing machine, but like the others just go with it and if it starts making a different sound then you know you have a problem otherwise just drive it.
keep an eye on the oil as well.........
