Vibration at 85mph
Discussion
Driving home down the Mway having just completed the purchase of my beautiful Mk1 I noticed an amount of vibration starting around about the 85 MPH mark. It didn't seem to be via the steering but the dash pod was definetly excited! Can anyone tell me if this is normal?
Ps my wife was in the car and would not allow me to test if it cleared up if you pushed on!!
Any thoughts very welcome

+1 on a buckled wheel. only fixed by a new wheel.
Jack car up at rear, spin wheel until you find bent bit.
Get appropriate piece of soft wood wrapped in old jumper
Put above on rim at offending area
Carefully hit with mallet until straight
Job done
Vibration gone
... Until next time

I thought UJ's were sealed for life?
Not on the G33 (which has the same uj's as a Chim and a Griff. I wouldnt be surprised if they are the same in a speed 6 car. In fact, I am pretty sure its on the service scheduleI thought UJ's were sealed for life?
