I use a meguiars DA polisher, 3m pads and 3m polishes. Works a treat.

I'm using "optimum" polish 2, which is a new nano tech type non-diminishing abrasive polish. I've been using the optimum for finishing and farecla g3 for initial correction. All using a da with different grade foam pads.

Once polished I'm sealing it with cquartz, which is another "nano" type product which puts a hard high gloss scratch resistant coating on the car. The cquartz should be mar resistant so will be less likely to suffer from swirls when washing.

Be very wary of using rotary equipment if you dont know what your doing, There intended to remove material around scratches. Once you've achieved the level of "correction" build up wax on top, i use poor boys nattys paste, its very good for the price.
