Before I start on countless evening this week replacing the carpets in my Tuscan, does anyone know the best way to remove the seats? I stuck my head in the car earlier but couldn't see any visible bolts. Guessing there accessed from under the car?

The seats are bolted to the runners and the runners are bolted through the bottom of the tub, and through some metal cross pieces between the chassis tubes. It should be 4 nuts on the underside that you can see to remove.
Might need to check the bolt doesn't start turning as well but you'll soon realise this when still undoing the nut after 5mins!

Out of interest..are you cutting your carpets to size yourself? I did look at going to DIY route but the time vs cost didn't look good so it's booked in with Dave the trimmer in July.

I took the passenger seat out a few weeks ago, under the car there are four bolts with nylock nuts on so not hard to find but to undo them I had to jam a screw driver in the runner under the seat to stop the nut turning as the seats do not go back far enough to get a socket on.

Good luck

Thanks, saved me a bit of time! MrChips, I've brought a DIY carpet kit from Central. My first choice would of been Dave but I'm located on the south coast. The carpets only cost £350 so worth a try.

I'm thinking of taking this route myself or book in with Dave the trimmer. So would very interested to hear how you get on. Keep us posted
