Looking at a Tuscan thats done 54,000 miles with out having had a rebuild, I take it this is not the norm?

Mines done over 59k without going pop (though the valve guides are a bit worn) so go for it I say! Look in the Tuscan Mileage wiki in this forum to see who else is doing good miles.

Str8Six rebuild is from £4950+VAT
TVR Power is £4500+VAT
Others are available (Racing Green, RND Engineering), do your own research, YMMV etc etc

It is also possible to do most of the work yourself, depends how far you want to go with the rebuild. There is a head rebuild in-situ guide on here somewhere.

Or you could go LS?
