It is that time of year for me again and we don't seem to have had one of these threads in a while.

So, who do you use and if you will how much?

I'll start

Need to Insure / Mk1 Tuscan / Garaged / 4000 = £617

Thanks in advance hopefully we can get a decent list so people get the best deal.

I used Mannings. Mk1 Tuscan, power 4.3 upgrade. Garaged. 5000 miles, including track days and European travel. Includes my 27 year old son as second driver. £490.

Excellent service, highly recommended.

I got a quote from Comparethemarket.com:

Tuscan Convertable (value at £38K), 5000 miles, XS - £650, 39 and 11/12ths yr old. GBP360.00! Seems to good to be true despite no frills and will probably go with Mannings at GBP480.00

Some results from me, I should say I have 1 fault accident in the last 5 years when I hit deer in the Daily and needed some serious front end reconstruction done!

Current - need to insure - £617 and couldn't touch the below prices
Classic Line £480
Mannings £423

The others who advertise around these parts - After 19 mins on the phone and a further 5 on hold and endless repeated questions from a barely understandable chap I got a price of .... I don't know I hung up what a load of ** and a waste of time. Why it took them so long to establish what the others did in 5 I'll never know.

Henderson Taylor

32, 5000 miles, 5 lots of track cover and euro cover. In region of £515 iirc

I must be getting old, that's quite reasonable I think.
