So just got the car back after 6 months off the road getting a full engine rebuild. Drove it for a good few hours without any problem.

Next day take the car out and within about half an hour 'water temp = 120' flashes up, pull over ASAP and steam starts billowing out from under the bonnet.

Both fans seem to be working, cant check the coolant level till it cools down.

Whats happened?!

Think oil was around 90 something, didnt look at the pressure unfortunately.

My first guess would be it's had an airlock and low on water (or the cap wasn't on properly)
Hopefully no harm done if the oil was in the 90s... If Power did it, contact Dom if in any doubt.

i had the same problem on my tuscan some years ago, steam coming out of the bonnet whenever i stop at the lights/junctions. i took it to the xworks, and diagnose that it was the radiator was leaking. good thing it was under warranty.
