shift lamp

does anyone know how this is wired? ive a tam, but wonder if the tuscan is similar


does the dash ecu control the shift lamp from the rev counter input from the engine ecu, or does the engine ecu put out a shift light trigger?

Depends which model of Tuscan you compare it to. The MK2/3 with the separate dash ECU as per the Tamora, Sagaris & T350 will be the same with regard to the shift lights. The engine speed sensor is directly connected to the engine ECU, this sends a engine speed signal to the dash ECU which controls the shift lights.
