Any ideas when this is due? I was down at Dream Machines last week and they were talking about November for delivery starting. Anyone heard different?
Also, any thoughts on what impact the arrivial of the new kid on the block will have on current Tuscan prices? Sorry, sore point for owners I know.

Well a new model will general push second hand prices down. From the motor show pics I was convinced, but after seeing it in the flesh at the P & P I am not so sure. It may be that some will prefer the "old" model. I guess a lot will depend on what the final car is like, the show cars buble shaped roof looked like cheap rag tops do driving down the moto way full of air and wasent weather proof even standing still, and the interior is IMHO just dreadfull. However the rear lights are cool and the boot spoiler neat plus the indicator bulbs look easer to change. The big thing will be reliability I guess. If it is launched with announced engine improvements and a beter warrenty then its really going to make an impact.

Assuming Smolenksi won't release the new models until all the problems solved, then presumably the SP6 engines from this point forwards should be reliable. Any older engines that go pop will be repaired to the current engine spec. Therefore older cars with new rebuilds should be a trouble-free purchase.
..and secondly, I much prefer the more aggressive appearance of the current Tuscan so prices may stabilise (plus, there's always the snob value of owning a non-Russian TVR).

Do we

Personally I'm not too worried about the current Tuscan prices (but then I'm not intending to part with mine now I have it!) The Tuscan is just coming into reach of the sort of TVR owners who are enthusiastic and know what's what. There'll also be a surge in independents who'll be looking after them. I reckon teh overall effect is that teh prices will drift south sensibly like any similar vehicle. Three to four year olds are going for about 1/2 the new price - which seems about right. Some are even under £20k now (whether you want to own one of those is another matter).
The MkII can only be looked upon as a good development (whether you like it aesthetically or not - personally not keen) from the point of view that there may be further upgrades of all sorts for the previous cars. just like all TVR development really.
