Probably a daft question, but...

If you take the roof of it might stay in up to say 70mph but if you put a driver of passengers window down at these speeds with the roof of then you will be on the edge.
I found driving the Tuscan with the rear screen out to be ideal with either the roof on and rear out with the drivers window down gave a nice flow of air through the car. With the roof and back window out it was ideal plenty of air and a nice feeling in the sunshine.
But back to your question, I would only do it for pootling around but since I sold my Tuscan I have have seen some upgraded rear screen locks whitch might be better at holding it in place at higher speeds.
Great car the Tuscan really enjoyed mine.

Mine feels pretty solid but after hearing horror stories of them falling off at motorway speeds I'm pretty nervous of it happening now. Another car hitting it is bad enough, but what about a biker?
Read on here a while ago about putting a wedge of wood under the boot lid lip. Anyone know how to go about this

I've had mine up to 120ish and done plenty of miles at motorway speeds with roof off and window in and mine has still got the smaller rear screen which is supposed to be less secure. I did replace the foam on the leading edge of the boot lid so it pushes on the screen stopping some of the squeaking.
If you lift the side windows a couple of inches it stops the drumming noise from the wind in the car.

Metal clips are available as an upgrade to replace the flexible and prone to breakage plastic ones. Not heard of any screen blow outs with these in place.
Just upgraded myself as I like a top down blast in the colder months with the roof off, but the other half is less keen and wants to keep the screen in.

Fitted the RaceTech clips shortly after buying the car.
At the Le Mans classic in 2010, I had the car up to 140/150 mph (indicated) on the Mulsanne during the parade laps with roof off. Rear screen stayed put....mainly 'cos I completely forgot to remove it!!
Repeated same exercise in 2012. Screen was fine.
