Stereo upgrade!

Hello all you TVR bods.
A mate has recently asked me how he can improve the sound quality of the stereo in his Tuscan. (Better bass primarily)
I know a fair deal about "ICE" but I imagine the Tuscan is a very different kettle of fish to a typical install.
Question is, have any of you guys upgraded the standard stereo / speakers, fitted amps etc, etc.
Any help gratefully recieved.

P.S I think his stereo is a pioneer? with autochanger, or was it a panasonic? Mmmm not too sure. It's the standard one anyway.
