Well, 9 days after getting her back she was on the low loader again. All the hallmarks of slave cylinder leakage.

If I'm going to have the clutch replaced too is it best to refit an item which is known to be weak, or are there any upgraded components with proven reliability beyond the standard equipment?

3 months 2500 miles and an unfeasible number of ££££. Surely nothing else could go wrong, right?

Needed new clutch recently:

I was recommended the standard clutch by TVR power and they delivered immediately.

Hard luck! I had a run of bad luck a while ago (clutch, steering rack, fuel pissing out the filler cap and peeling off all the paint, puncture - no foxes though!) but hang in there, as it will stop eventually. Hopefully before your bank balance runs out biggrin

Bad luck??????????
I know someone has had 1st engine rebuilt, then 2nd water cooler, then 3rd gearbox broken (5th gone)
at least 4th the rear window flew out at 160mls/h.

So a lot of things can happen (or not)!
And never give up.
