Took my tuscan (which I've had for 18 months) to Goodwood last week-end. Have to say,the car has always taken my breath away on the open roads, but nothing would prepare me as to how good it was on the track - loads of power, (obvious, but an underpowered trackday car would p*ss me off), superb direct steering, and very progressive handling... what more could you want.

So there u are - well done to the boys at TVR for making such a sorted (standard 2000X - 4.0 L car.)

It is no longer for sale BTW.

If you've got the bug, we are having a reasonably priced day at Brunters on Saturday 20th (for Charity). Couple of Tuscans, Griffs and Chims are planning to go. You would be more than welcome. Mail me if you're interested.

Bang goes the "never tracked" line on the ad when the time comes...

True, but at least you get the pleasure of having driven the car somewhere near it's limits which is what it was designed for!

Could never understand those adverts with "dry miles only" or "no track days" - it is a sports car made in the UK, it was designed to get wet and go fast on a track!!

Get out there and enjoy it before it becomes illegal

I saw the video and I've seen more 'to the limit driving' by the elderly in a motorised invalid carriage. I heard his other half is still scrubbing the stains out of his briefs!
Next time take your ambulance!!!
