I have a sidelight out. Despite it being 1 candle power :P I would like to replace it for MOT / Roadworthiness reasons.

I've searched high and low and cannot see how to do it and also, has anyone got a decent upgrade spec bulb etc they have used?

I'll be at Goodwood Supercar Sunday if anyone else is going!?

Interested to know myself. Must sell an LED equivalent. Do you know the bulb type?

Undo/remove hatch - front part of inner wing (main bonnet off).

In the space between inner & outer wing, you can see the lights.
It's a case of feeling for the back of the side light, and IIRC, it's a case of 1/4 turn a/clock, and pull from front.

Wires are long enough for you to do this. Roll back rubber sleeve from lamp ass'y and remove lamp holder with 1/4 turn and pull off. Lamp is 5W capless - just pull out old & push in new. Check the 2 pin connector 1st though, the pins do tend to get corroded and not work!

Awesome. I'll try, then post some pics. Either of abject failure to be laughed at.. or for future reference.
