sounds like the heater control unit. Have you tried switching the heater fan off & back on again.

Don't know if this helps but this is what I have to do to get warm air!

1. push the button in to turn heater on.
2. turn the temperature to hot.
3. turn the airflow full blast.
4. turn the temperature to cold.
5. turn the heater off.
6. repeat above until it works!!

After 2 or 3 attempts this always works.

The 'heater' button, is that the one which engages/disengages the air-con? Or is there yet another button somewhere?
I have the same problem.

I don't have air-con in mine so for me the "heater" button is lower one of the 2. The one that controls the volume of airflow not the temperature.
