Does anybody know?

What's inside, if anything? Under the main bonnet next to the air box in-between the inner arch and the windscreen wiper motor there is a big wedge shape in the fiberglass? what is this for? I want to move the 125Amp fuse and the side of this wedge is the location of choice but don't want to get the drills and rivnuts out if there is anything I could damage inside?
Thanks in advance.

TBH, I've no idea - But IIRC the "aircraft" multi-pin connector from the engine sensing points and injectors etc, is located at the bulkhead area/join of this 'wedge'.
I'd assume therefore, that the wiring from the 'female' plug of said connector to the ecu is tucked in there somewhere.
If you have to move the fuse carrier, can you not self tap it to the inner wheel arch? However, it's not as though you need to check the fuse often - - the charge light not going out indicates a complete failure, and if you use a 'midi' type fuse they are much more mechanically robust than the original 'strip' type 100A fuses...so, you shouldn't get the hairline/partial failures associated with the strip fuse?...All IMHO.

Hi Nick
Thanks for your reply. I have never rely liked the location of the fuse as its not to quick to change at the roadside (airbox off etc) but didn't worry to much as I already had a 125A Midi fitted. Driving home after a service the battery indicator flickered a couple of times (put this down to the pods do what it likes crazy mind) but then 3 miles from home the pod voltage started to drop! Not sure which failed first? The fuse or the alternator, but either way the last 3 miles finished off the battery too! so with all three replaced Fuse, battery and alternator wanted to ensure that this didn't happen again. Spare fuse now in boot! The multiplug is behind the wiper motor and under the dash top so will cause no problem, just seems strange if the wedge has no purpose?
