I love my Tuscan and a year in, still can't stop gawping at it when the cover's not on. I know its going to rattle and probably leak but there are a few little cheapskate things that I'd like to change even though I'm not into modding that much and prefer originality. In order of descending irritation these are:

1. Cigar lighter that looks like its out of a BL Princess. Amongst all the beautiful machined Aluminium its really an eyesore. I've been seeking out a non-embossed knurled disc to cap it with but the one on the Mk2 heater is just slightly too small.

2. Interior Targa catch. Again, they picked the cheapest bit of Aluminium U section they could and it doesn't even fit over the locking boss. Should be something machined or cast.

3. Ambla tails on dash pod spider. Tried sticking them back loads of times but can't make it permanent.

4. Ambla not good at turning corners at each end of the shelf, see item 3...

5. Crap handbrake. I know this is par for the course but surely the fine Engineers in Blackpool could have solved it at some point in their history.

Do I have OCD or is there a solution ?

I don't think OCD, more like Tuscanitus.
Maybe a wonder around a car scrap yard will help you select a more suitable cigar lighter.

Your Tuscan does look bloody nice by the way.

The handbrake can and should work. Make sure the levers on the calipers are free and return fully to their stops and that the cable hasn't been adjusted up too tight to compensate for them sticking.
