Any ideas on engine problem?

I decided to tak the beast out for a dive yesterday and everything was fine for about 10 miles then the engine went lumpy. I stopped and pulled over, after a lot of lmibo dancing I found the ECU had come part unplugged. I reconnected it and the engine seemed better but not right. Got car back home (Slowly) and took the pugs out, the rear 3 are fine but the front 3 are sooty. I put a new set in but they sooted up pretty quickly. THe engine is firing on all six (Exhausts hot) but it appears to be running rich on the front 3 cylinders - I am thinking a popped ECU but anyone any ideas?

How about disconnecting the battery for a few mins, then reconnect, and put on the ignition for maybe 10 seconds, and see if that re-boots the ECU?
Works for other cars
