I was off work ill yesterday and so I decided to take my Tuscan to Techniques in Stotfold to get my EFI fault investigated.
After a couple of false starts in the 2 degree ambient temperature I finally get it started but I have to keep revs up to stop it stalling (even before EFI fault very cold starts were a bit difficult). Anyway, due to the revs I accidentally wheelspan out of my icy gravel parking space. Now my speedo doesn't work.
Just so you have the full picture, when I first started moving there were a couple of jolts and small crack noises as the car had been left for 5 days since I last drove it (slightly rusted brakes, etc).
The bloke at Techniques said something about wheelspinning on gravel and the speedo before I fully told him what happened but due to my illness and general st memory I can't remember what he said.

Does anyone have any idea what could have happened here? He said something about the wires coming off the speed sensor or something.

P.S. Sorry if this reads terribly, it feels like my head is suspended 3 feet above my body so I can't concentrate properly.
