Visited my friendly local TVR dealer yesterday and placed my order for a new Tuscan 2 for March 1st delivery. Iced titanium with black / mulberry interior and 18in wheels.

Drove home in my current P&J and it drove so perfectly, even in the rain, that I thought I must be mad to sell her at just 2 years old. It was like I was dumping a perfect girlfriend because I'd caught a glimpse of her younger sister. I felt like a total bounder.

Change over day is going to be emotional and if the next owner doesn't look after her they'll have me to answer to.

New girlfriend sounds worth it. I wish you both a long and torrid affair - regular servicing is the key.

Well done that man-sounds fantastic!

Welcome to the club Paul. The next few weeks are gonna drag. I know what you mean about your existing car. When I saw mine in the dealer, it was all I could do to stop Tony buying it back there and then. Really heart wrenching leaving it there, but I guess you have to move on.

Congrats Di

I'm sure Nigel will be glad to sell it to you in March.

Paul.

Any reason for the wait until March ?

The spec you have gone for is exactly the same as the car in Harrogate is it not ? And thats for sale now.

The one in Harrogate is almost the same as the one I have ordered (very slight differences plus that one is actually grigio titanio not iced but the difference is neglible apart from the £400 extra for grigio ) .

When I bought my existing car it was sitting unregistered in the showroom. This time I wanted to spec it myself and visit the factory. I ordered it last week and it's due March.

I've decided not to go for the S6 Oxbow.

I'm having the more powerful Seat Leon engine fitted instead.
